Is a blowout the same as a smoothing treatment?
No, even though the names make them easy to mix up. A blowout is styling. We wash your hair and blow dry it smooth or full with a round brush, and the result lasts until your next shampoo. A smoothing treatment is a chemical service that takes two to three hours and keeps frizz down for months.

Planning formal hair for a wedding or event
Call as soon as you have the date and the time you need to be ready. Tell us how many people need styling and when you have to leave, and we will tell you what the schedule allows. Saturdays fill first.
Bring photos of styles you like and of your neckline, and wear a top that buttons or zips so nothing pulls over the finished style. Hair that is clean and fully dry when you arrive is the easiest to work with, unless your stylist asks for something different. Most blowouts last until the next wash, which is two to four days for most hair. Sleep on a silk pillowcase, wrap or loosely pin your hair at night, and use a little dry shampoo at the roots on day two instead of rewashing. Skip the gym on day one if you can. We are at 10794 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242, in the Montgomery area, close to Kenwood and Blue Ash, with free parking right outside. We are open until 8 PM Monday to Wednesday, until 6 PM Thursday and Friday, and until 5 PM on Saturday.
