Your Appointment
How a perm appointment works
We start with a consultation about your hair's history and condition and look at photos of the pattern you want. Then your stylist wraps your hair on rods, the solution processes, a neutralizer sets the new shape, and we finish and style. Plan on two to three hours for a full perm.
The first 48 hours set the result: no washing, no ponytails and no tucking it behind your ears. After that, treat it like curly hair, with sulfate-free shampoo and a diffuser instead of a brush.
Color and Perms
Perms on color-treated hair
Color and perming both work on the inside of the strand, so your hair has to be strong enough for the second service. Single-process color or a few foils usually perms well. Heavily highlighted, bleached or damaged hair may need a different plan, and we will tell you that honestly at the consultation rather than promise a result we cannot see yet.
