Every six to eight weeks is the sweet spot for most hair. Pixies, crops and structured bobs lose their shape fastest and look best on a four to six week rhythm. Healthy long hair can stretch to eight or twelve weeks, and color treated hair should stay on the shorter end of its range.

How much is a haircut at Salon Bastille in Cincinnati?
A women's haircut starts at $45, a men's haircut at $32 and a children's haircut at $25. A bang or beard trim is $18 and a blow out and style is $35. Prices are a starting point and vary with hair length, the time your service needs and stylist level, and we confirm your price before we begin.
How often should I get a haircut?
Every six to eight weeks suits most hair. Short, precision styles need a reshape every four to six weeks, and healthy long hair can go eight to twelve. If you are growing your hair out, a light dusting every ten to twelve weeks protects your length.
Do you cut men's and children's hair?
Yes. Family haircuts are the backbone of what we do. Many families book everyone together and set the next visit before they leave, which is the easiest way to keep everyone on schedule.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome at Salon Bastille, 10794 Montgomery Rd in Cincinnati. Just stop in during our open hours. Color, balayage and keratin services take longer than a cut, so for those we suggest calling (513) 791-0600 ahead and we will book the right amount of time for you.
Can I get a haircut after work?
Yes. We are open until 8 PM Monday to Wednesday, until 6 PM Thursday and Friday, and until 5 PM on Saturday. Book ahead if you need a later time.
